Onen David is a distinguished Consultant and Scholar with deep expertise in Anthropology, Gender, Forced Migration, and Development. He holds degrees in Social Science (Psychology and sociology) from Kyambogo University, Uganda, and Social Anthropology of Development from SOAS, University of London. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Germany.

With over 15 years of experience, Onen has led transformative projects supporting forced migrants in Uganda, including refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), undocumented migrants, and deportees. His work particularly focuses on conflict-related sexual violence, extending beyond project design to encompass research and knowledge-building initiatives both within Uganda and internationally.

A passionate advocate of Ethnographic research, Onen excels at transforming ideas into fully developed, life-changing initiatives. An avid user of MAXQDA and qualitative data analysis, he brings critical insights and fresh perspectives, challenging conventional data-dumping consultancies.
